Julian Edelman releases hype video with clear message for Patriots doubters

The New England Patriots have seemingly been criticized more than any 10-2 team in NFL history, and you know they are going to take every bit of that criticism and try to use it to their advantage down the stretch. If you want proof of that, look no further than the hype video Julian Edelman released prior to Sunday’s game.

Edelman shared a compilation video on social media that showed several analysts talking about what a mess the Patriots’ offense is. The video also included Tom Brady’s famous quote from last year’s playoffs, when he said “everyone thinks we suck” after New England advanced to the AFC Championship Game.

The talk surrounding the 2019 Patriots is quite familiar, even if it is valid. Their offense has not been good, but their defense is elite and has carried them to 10 wins in 12 games. If Brady and his receivers can somehow get on the same page, New England would become even more dangerous.

Pundits and talk show hosts have prematurely written the Patriots off in the past, and Brady has made it no secret that he uses all that talk as motivation. Whether their analysis this year has been accurate or not, it’s no surprise the Pats are using the naysayers as fuel once again.
