Junior Galette’s 2016 campaign is over before it even began.
According to a report by Rand Getlin of NFL Network on Monday, the Redskins linebacker has torn his right Achilles tendon and is out for the year.
I'm told #Redskins OLB Junior Galette has torn his Achilles and is out for the season.

It’s a brutal development for the 28-year-old Galette, who suffered a left Achilles tear last August that kept him out of action for the entire 2015 season. Though he has gone out of his way to show his commitment to the team, Galette still has yet to play a single down for the Redskins since signing with them in July 2015.
A talented pass rusher who recorded 22.0 total sacks in the last two seasons he was healthy, Galette’s career now appears to be in major jeopardy. For a guy who has had his fair share of woes off the field, we can only hope that his body allows him to get another crack at the gridiron.
