Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker had never missed an extra point in his career until last October, when he shockingly missed a game-tying attempt with 24 seconds left against the New Orleans Saints.
One might expect a kicker to want to put such a big miss behind him as quickly as possible. For Tucker, however, he wants to use it as motivation, all the way down to keeping the football used.
Tucker said he will put the ball from his missed extra point this past year against the Saints right next to the other game balls he's received. Said it's "a part of my story" and h gets motivation from it.

It’s a good attitude to have and likely helps explain why Tucker has cemented himself as one of the NFL’s all-time most reliable kickers. His reaction at the time was almost amusing given his usual reliability, but he’s clearly taking the lessons from it and moving forward.
