The Denver Broncos are improving their secondary with a nice addition this offseason.

Denver has agreed to a 3-year, $33 million deal with Kareem Jackson that will pay him $23 million guaranteed, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

Jackson, a former first-round pick from Alabama, spent the past nine season with the Texans. He had 87 tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and a sack last season. He’s a versatile defensive back who should fit in well with new head coach Vic Fangio’s defensive scheme.

This is yet another hit to the Houston secondary. They also are losing Tyrann Mathieu to the Chiefs.
