Lamar Jackson missed practice on Thursday for the first time this season, but the Baltimore Ravens quarterback is not dealing with an injury.
Jackson was not with the Ravens on Thursday due to an illness, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
There has been no indication that Jackson is in danger of missing Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Jackson sat out the final five games last season due to a knee injury. Head coach John Harbaugh initially said he did not expect the former MVP to miss much time, which led many to wonder if Jackson was milking the injury as he sought a new contract from the Ravens.
Jackson also missed a handful of games due to injury in 2021.
This season has been a much different story. Jackson has played in every game and did not even miss a practice prior to Thursday. Ravens fans will be pleased to hear that his absence was not related to an injury.
