Leonard Fournette presented members of the Jaguars’ offensive line watches as a thank you for paving the way to a successful rookie season.
After a standout career at LSU, Fournette has continued to produce in the NFL. In 13 games this season, Fournette rushed for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns, including a 181-yard performance against the Steelers. Like most running backs, Fournette appreciates the hard work done by the offensive line. To show his gratitude, he bought Rolex watches for the guys up front.
“Just to show them the dedication and all the hard work they put in to help me to get me where I’m at and also for this team,” Fournette told ESPN. “Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.”
If Fournette needs ideas for next year, there’s always high-end backpacks or bottles of cognac.
Jacksonville drafted Fournette No. 4 overall in last year’s draft to be a difference maker and he has done just that. Fournette was made inactive for a game earlier this season for violating a team rule, but, overall, the Jaguars have to be pleased with the return on their investment thus far.
