LeSean McCoy: Chip Kelly ‘can’t say s— to me’

LeSean McCoy Bills

LeSean McCoy still does not want to speak to Chip Kelly.

With the Philadelphia Eagles set to take on the Buffalo Bills, there has been no shortage of questions for McCoy about Kelly and vice-versa. On Wednesday, McCoy made it clear that he has had enough.

“Chip can’t say s— to me,” McCoy said, per Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News. “There’s nothing for us to talk about. I knew who I was before he got there and I know who I am now. I don’t dislike him. I don’t have anything against him. There’s nothing for us to talk about. He knows me, knows who I am.”

Earlier this week, McCoy stood by the comments he made after the Eagles traded him when he basically accused Kelly of being racist. Despite that, McCoy said he holds no “hatred” toward his former coach.

In his conference call with reporters on Wednesday, Kelly expressed interest in burying the hatchet with McCoy. He said he has tried to reach out to McCoy in the past and would love to shake his hand this weekend. McCoy says that is not going to happen.

“Listen man, Chip can’t shake s—. At all. Nothing,” McCoy said. “He knows this. I can read between the lines. There’s nothing for us to talk about — at all. There are some people I do want to speak to.”

Got it? Good.

McCoy has had plenty of opportunities to take the high road, but he obviously still holds a lot of animosity toward Kelly. He even took a shot at Kelly at the start of this season, but Wednesday’s remarks were some of McCoy’s strongest. I wouldn’t expect a postgame handshake on Sunday.
