The Detroit Lions are officially onto QBs 3 and 4 this season.

Detroit on Saturday placed Jeff Driskel on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Driskel served as the team’s backup quarterback behind Matthew Stafford and started three games before hurting his hamstring in Week 12. The result was Driskel being unable to start on Thanksgiving against the Chicago Bears. David Blough instead got the start.

Blough will remain the team’s starter moving forward now that Driskel is out the rest of the year.

Detroit made another move by signing Kyle Sloter. Sloter is an undrafted player out of Northern Colorado who starred in the preseason for Minnesota, throwing for 443 yards and four touchdowns in the preseason before being waived and signed by Arizona.

Detroit is now 3-8-1 after a promising 2-0-1 start. They visit Minnesota in Week 14.
