The Philadelphia Eagles came away with a road win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, but the fans in attendance made the visiting team feel right at home. For veteran cornerback Malcolm Jenkins, it may as well have been a home game.
After the game, Jenkins said he was thankful to be part of a team that gets to play nine home games this season.
Only team in the NFL with 9 home games this season!!! Thank you @Eagles fans!! #FlyEaglesFly

It definitely felt like the Eagles fans outnumbered Chargers fans, but it’s a bit premature for Jenkins to say Philadelphia will be the only team with nine home games. Judging by what we have seen from the StubHub Center thus far, there’s a good chance every road team will feel like they’re playing a home game there.
The Eagles took their own shot at the Chargers via the team’s official Twitter account, and players in L.A. have already complained about the lack of support they are getting in their new home. Perhaps that move from San Diego wasn’t the best choice for the franchise.
