Eagles twist knife on Twitter after beating Chargers
As if beating the Los Angeles Chargers on their “home” field weren’t already harsh enough, the Philadelphia Eagles twisted the knife with a tweet sent after the game.
The Eagles won 26-24 over the Chargers at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Many reports said there was a strong contingency of Eagles fans at the game, where the attendance was around 27,000 fans.
Here’s the tweet the Eagles sent:
We wish you were here, but it sounds like most of you were. #FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/TeQaaAH5qM

Ouch.
The Chargers are in a tough spot. This is their first year since moving from San Diego, and few in Los Angeles really wanted them. The attendance seems to have proven that, as players have complained about how many opposing fans have been in the stadium for games.
The Chargers are 0-4 this season, and it seems they’re going to end up playing eight road games and eight neutral field games this season since they are lacking a home field advantage. Teams with strong national fan bases can easily turn that stadium into a home-like environment.
