Mark Sanchez recommends Nick Foles try the chicken tenders (Video)
A blowout victory can be boring for a starting quarterback, let alone a guy who has spent the entire season holding a clipboard and pretending he is a big part of his team’s offensive strategy. When the Philadelphia Eagles were dropping the hammer on the New York Giants last Sunday night, Mark Sanchez found something to keep him occupied — chicken tenders.
And Sanchez didn’t just chow down on some tenders, he also provided a review of them for Nick Foles. As we saw on this week’s edition of Showtime’s “Inside the NFL,” Sanchez went over to Foles at one point during the 27-0 win with his mouth full.
“You should try the chicken tenders,” Sanchez said. “They’re good.”
The best part was Foles thought Sanchez had something serious to say when he leaned over, then quickly realized he was goofing off. Does Sanchez love eating on the sidelines or what? Remember this?
We’re glad Sanchez has settled into his humble role as second-string quarterback and food critic. For a while there, we were worried things might not work out.
