Mason Rudolph appears to be knocked unconscious by Earl Thomas hit
A terrifying scene unfolded in Pittsburgh during the Steelers’ game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, as quarterback Mason Rudolph appeared to be knocked unconscious on a helmet-to-helmet hit.
Rudolph made an outstanding play to avoid several defenders and complete a pass to wide receiver James Washington, but he took a brutal hit to the head from Earl Thomas as he was throwing the ball. His body immediately went limp, and he laid motionless on the turf for several moments.
Hope Mason Rudolph is OK after this hit.

Fortunately, Rudolph was eventually able to stand up and walk off the field with some assistance. A stretcher was brought onto the field but not needed.
This is the second time in two weeks we have seen a quarterback appear to be knocked out cold by a hit from a defender. Thomas was somehow not flagged on the play, but he will almost certainly be facing a fine.
