Melvin Gordon has been banged up for the better part of the last two months, and the Los Angeles Chargers running back will likely be playing at less than 100 percent health once again on Sunday.
Gordon went down early in the Chargers’ win over the Baltimore Ravens last week and ended up going to the locker room, though he eventually returned to the game. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on Tuesday that he is dealing with a minor knee sprain and is expected to play against the New England Patriots, though he may not be at full strength.

Gordon missed several games late in the regular season after he suffered a sprained MCL, and he has tweaked his knee a couple of times since. He admitted a few weeks ago that he has been playing through some pain, and that will likely continue to be the case until LA’s season comes to an end, whether that is this weekend or further down the road.
