Mike Evans kneels in protest of Donald Trump election
NFL players began kneeling during the national anthem as a sign of protest of the treatment of black people by police officers, and that protest has now extended to the recent presidential election.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans kneeled during the anthem prior to his team’s game Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Evans said after the game that he thinks the election of Donald Trump to president is a joke.
“If [Trump being elected] happens, then America’s not right right now,” Evans said after the game via Joe Bucs Fan. “I said this a long time ago. When [Donald Trump] ran, I thought it was a joke, and the joke continues.
“I’m not a political person that much, but I got common sense. And I know when something’s not right.”

Evans says he will continue to kneel in protest of the election until Ashton Kutcher comes out and says this is all a joke and America is getting punked. Seriously.
