Mike Macdonald is serious candidate for 1 head coach job
The Baltimore Ravens’ AFC Championship loss means defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald can now speak to teams about head coach openings, and he is going to be in high demand.
Macdonald appears to be a serious candidate for the Washington Commanders head coach job, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. With the Ravens out of the playoffs, Macdonald is scheduled to meet Monday with a group of key Commanders decision-makers, including owner Josh Harris.

The Commanders have been strongly linked to one other candidate, but if they are bringing in Macdonald for a second interview and to meet with ownership, they are clearly still interested in him as well.
Macdonald is going to be a hot commodity, as Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that the Seattle Seahawks also plan to speak with him this week.
