Le’Veon Bell has seemingly decided to take his holdout as far as he can without missing a regular season game, and Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin insists he is unsure of the star running back’s exact plans.
The Steelers held their first official regular season practice of 2018 on Monday, and Bell was not present. When asked about the ongoing absence on Wednesday, Tomlin sounded a bit frustrated.
Tomlin on whether Le'Veon Bell will report Wed: "I hadn't thought about it. We'll see. When he gets here, that's when we'll start."

While it seems unlikely that Bell will skip a regular season game and forfeit a game check, it’s worth noting that he was limited to just 13 touches in last year’s season opener following a similar holdout. Even if he plans to show up before Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, it’s possible Bell will play a very limited role or not play at all.
Bell has vowed to have his best season to date in 2018, but it seems obvious that the team is irritated with his decision to continue the holdout into this week. In fact, there have been indications that even his teammates are growing frustrated with him.
