Myles Garrett expected to be reinstated before start of offseason program
Myles Garrett remains suspended stemming from the incident in which he hit Mason Rudolph over the head with a helmet last season, but the Cleveland Browns star is on track to be reinstated in time for all offseason activities.
Garrett met with the NFL on Monday to discuss his reinstatement, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the defensive end is expected to get the green light from the league as long as he fulfilled all of his responsibilities.
The expectation is that #Browns pass-rusher Myles Garrett will be reinstated, sources have said, provided he completed the back end of all that was required — including counseling. No firm word from the NFL on when he’s officially back, though nothing is said to be coming today.

Garrett was suspended for the remainder of the 2019 season after he hit Rudolph over the head with a helmet during Cleveland’s Week 11 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Garrett later said he was set off by Rudolph using a racial slur, though Rudolph has vehemently denied that.
The suspension for Garrett was perhaps the low point in what was an incredibly disappointing season for the Browns. Garrett will be looking for a fresh start under new head coach Kevin Stefanski, and it sounds like the NFL is going to allow the former No. 1 overall pick to get back to work in the very near future.
