New Yorkers discuss impact ‘Savage Johnson’ could have in Super Bowl

New-YorkerThere is only so much we can talk about in the two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. Most of us already know the strengths and weaknesses of the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos by now, but one thing that remains a topic of debate is what type of impact Savage Johnson is going to have on the game.

With the big game just days away, USA Today Sports decided to take a page out of Jimmy Kimmel’s book to embarrass people on the streets of New York. Last year, Kimmel made Miami Heat fans look bad with a special edition of his hilarious “Lie Witness News” segment. USA Today had a reporter ask New Yorkers a number of questions about the Super Bowl, including how they think Savage Johnson will play.

As we know, Savage Johnson does not exist. Or, should we say, he’s not a player on the Seahawks or Broncos. Some New Yorkers were also asked if they thought Peyton Manning’s and Russell Wilson’s injuries would have a significant impact on the game, and they didn’t even bat an eyelash. People just hate admitting when they don’t know something.
