Odell Beckham Jr. makes two big announcements with Instagram post

Odell Beckham Jr. has experienced a whirlwind of emotions since the Super Bowl, and the star wide receiver is even more thankful for something that happened days after the Los Angeles Rams’ big win.

Beckham revealed on Instagram late Tuesday night that he and his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Wood, welcomed their first child. The baby, Zydn, was born on Feb. 17 — four days after Super Bowl LVI. Beckham suffered a torn ACL in that game, and he also wrote in his Instagram post that his “surgery was a success.”

You can see the post and photos below:

Beckham caught a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl that gave the Rams an early lead over the Cincinnati Bengals. He then suffered a non-contact injury that turned out to be a torn ACL. Beckham broke down in tears after the game, which you can see here.

Beckham is set to become a free agent, and his latest major injury has created some uncertainty for him. However, one Rams star is already pressuring the team to bring OBJ back. There should be plenty of motivation on both sides to get a new deal done.
