Unfortunate old Nick Sirianni video goes viral after Eagles’ stunning playoff loss
Fans seem to think that they can pinpoint the exact moment that the Philadelphia Eagles’ season ripped in half.
The Eagles went out sad on Monday night, getting drubbed 32-9 in their Wild Card matchup against the heavy underdog Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They managed less than 50 yards of total rushing and allowed Bucs QB Baker Mayfield to shred them for 337 yards and three touchdowns.
In the wake of the stunning beatdown, an old video of Eagles coach Nick Sirianni went viral. After a big win on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11, Sirianni taunted Kansas City fans by emphatically bellowing, “Hey, I don’t hear s–t anymore! Chiefs fans! See ya!!”
Unfortunately for the Eagles though, that was pretty much the best that it got for them. While they beat the Buffalo Bills the next week, Philly lost five of their last six games to close out the regular season. With the beatdown at the hands of the Bucs eliminating them from playoff contention, the Eagles ended up going 2-6 overall following Sirianni’s moment of braggadocio. That was a fact that social media was more than giddy to point out.

Since this moment the Philadelphia Eagles:
– Finished the regular season 2-5
– were out scored 226-160
– Choked away the Division
– Eliminated in the Wild Card roundNick Sirianni’s antics have made the Eagles downfall so enjoyable to watch. https://t.co/f0NWQeXfS5

Though it did not help that key players like AJ Brown and Darius Slay got hurt down the stretch, Sirianni’s increasingly predictable offense was a big reason behind the Eagles’ collapse as well. It would not be a surprise if the third-year head coach faced serious questions over his job status from here.
