Perhaps the Green Bay Packers could have hid behind the convenient excuse of Aaron Rodgers’ injury to explain their 7-9 season, but they’re doing the opposite of that.
Via ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Packers fired two more assistants on Wednesday in offensive coordinator Edgar Bennett and quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt.
Edgar Bennett is out as Packers’ offensive coordinaor and Alex Van Pelt is out as Packers’ QB coach, per @RobDemovsky and @mortreport.

The Packers crashed completely when Rodgers got hurt, and quarterback Brett Hundley showed little improvement. They’ve already shuffled their general manager out, and they’re also seeking a new defensive coordinator. It’s fair to say the organization is being retooled from top to bottom after a disappointing season.
