Former longtime Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby has a new team.
Crosby is signing with the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad. NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo says Crosby will likely be moved to the active roster soon.

The Rams had worked out Crosby in late October. That came after Brett Maher had gone 1/3 on field goals and missed an extra point in the Rams’ Week 7 loss to the Steelers. The Rams decided to sign Lucas Havrisik, but he has gone 7/10 on field goals and 10/11 on extra points. Havrisik missed a 43-yard field goal attempt in the team’s Week 13 win over the Browns.
The Rams appear to be disappointed with Havrisik and hoping that Crosby could give them the type of quality kicking they are seeking.
Crosby was Green Bay’s starting kicker for 16 seasons from 2007-22 and was part of their Super Bowl XLV-winning team in 2011. The 39-year-old led the NFL in scoring in 2007 and ranks 13th all-time with 395 made field goals.
