Panthers’ Kona Ealy never heard of Raiders’ Black Hole
Oakland Raiders fans may be motivated to make more noise than usual during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. That’s because they could be on a mission to make an impression.
See, there is a particular section in the end zone at Oakland Raiders games where the truly hardcore fans sit (minus this guy), and it’s called the “Black Hole.” It’s similar to the Dawg Pound in Cleveland, and it’s reserved for the most passionate and die-hard fans. Ever see the guys in face paint or with spikes on their shoulder pads? Yup, those are members of the Black Hole.
Though the Black Hole is a notorious part of the Raiders’ fan base, some players are unfamiliar with it. Just check out what Panthers defensive lineman Kona Ealy had to say about it:
Panthers DE Kony Ealy on Raiders' famed fan base: "I don't care about the Black Hole. This is my first time hearing about it."

Carolina was already an underdog with a 4-6 record visiting the 8-2 Raiders. Now once you figure in the extra crowd noise and hostile environment, the Panthers will face an even tougher task. Better get with the program, Kona.
