Defensive end Charles Snowden hasn’t played a single down yet for the Dallas Cowboys.
On Tuesday, the NFL announced that Snowden will be suspended for three games due to a DUI.

For now, Snowden is still eligible to participate in preseason games, and the suspension will not take effect until the Cowboys’ roster is set at 53 players.
Snowden went undrafted and spent time with the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders before signing with Dallas this offseason. Before coming to Las Vegas, Snowden was primarily a practice squad player.
In December 2024, Snowden was arrested for a DUI, and it was reported that he was found passed out behind the steering wheel with the vehicle running.
The 2025 season was a career-best campaign for Snowden. He had a career-high three sacks with 28 tackles and an interception while playing 15 games.
Snowden was invited to the Cowboys’ minicamp, and he was one of a few players who signed contracts in June after a successful run. The other players Dallas signed were WR Denzel Mims, CB Ameer Speed and OL Chris Glaser.
