Jared Goff is in the league’s concussion protocol after taking a big hit in the Rams’ loss to the Seahawks on Thursday night, but Los Angeles apparently expects him to play in Week 16.
Rams interim head coach John Fassel said on Tuesday that he anticipates Goff being able to play on Saturday against the 49ers.

Goff left the Rams-Seahawks game after being hit while running down the sidelines and was taken into the locker room (here’s video). He did not return to the game.
Goff was a full participant in the team’s practice on Tuesday. If he passes all tests, he would be cleared to play in Week 16.
The Rams have Case Keenum, who started most of the team’s games this season, and Sean Mannion as options at quarterback if Goff is unable to play.
