An arrest warrant was issued for Winslow on Thursday by the San Diego district attorney and he was taken into custody. The 34-year-old is set to be arraigned on Friday.
The arrest is Winslow’s second in a week. He was arrested last week on suspicion of burglary at a mobile home park in Encinitas, San Diego. His attorney dismissed the allegation and said an overly concerned neighbor had called the police. Winslow’s defense was that he was house-hunting for his mother-in-law.
Winslow is the son of Hall of Famer Kellen Winslow. The tight end played in the NFL from 2004-2013 and made the Pro Bowl in 2007 with the Browns.
