Robert Griffin III files for divorce from wife Rebecca Liddicoat

Robert Griffin III has formally filed for divorce from his wife Rebecca Liddicoat, which is no surprise to those of us who have seen RG3 parading his new girlfriend all around Cleveland.

Griffin and Liddicoat have been separated for several months, but TMZ reports that the Browns quarterback officially filed paperwork to end his marriage on Sept. 7. Sources told the gossip publication that the former couple is “not on good terms” and the split is likely to be a messy one.

That’s not really a surprise, considering a previous report claimed Liddicoat was blindsided by Griffin wanting a divorce. RG3 and Liddicoat have a 1-year-old daughter together.

Griffin is currently dating FSU track and field star Grete Sadeiko, and he has not been shy about expressing his feelings for the young lady publicly. He even appears to have a tattoo of Sadeiko’s name on his arm.
