Roddy White tweets uncomfortable encounter with police

On Wednesday, former NFL wide receiver Roddy White had an uncomfortable encounter with a police officer that he documented on Twitter.

While driving around, White was pulled over and received two tickets, one for speeding and one for having expired tags on his vehicle. However, the citations weren’t what bothered White. As he detailed, the officer approaching with his hand on his gun did not sit well with the four-time Pro Bowler.

Thankfully, White’s encounter ended without incident.

White was released by the Falcons earlier this year after 11 seasons with the team. He’s currently the franchise’s all-time leader in receptions (808), receiving yards (10,863), and receiving touchdowns (63).
