Rolando McClain reportedly telling people he wants to make NFL comeback

Rolando McClainTroubled linebacker Rolando McClain is planning to make an NFL comeback this season, according to a report.

The Carroll County Times’ Matt Zenitz reports that McClain, who did not play last season following his third arrest in a 17-month span, is telling people close to him that he plans to play this fall.

McClain was a first-round pick of the Oakland Raiders in 2010. He was a relative disappointment for the team and was involved in multiple off-field issues. He was arrested last January and again last April.

The Baltimore Ravens signed McClain before his April arrest. They placed him on the reserve/retired list after he was arrested.

“I love football, but I have decided at this time it is in my best interest to focus on getting my personal life together,” McClain said at the time.

McClain apparently believes he now has his personal life together, which would explain why he’s training for an NFL comeback.
