The clip of Jake Bobo sustaining his latest injury is not for the faint of heart.
Bobo suffered a major knee injury during the Seahawks’ joint practice with the Titans on Friday at the latter’s training facility in Nashville, Tenn. The Seahawks wideout tried to make a play on a pass from quarterback Sam Darnold, and landed awkwardly, leading to immediate fears of a torn ACL.
The moment was captured by HBO’s “Hard Knocks” cameras, which also recorded Bobo’s visceral screams as he writhed in pain near the sideline.

Sam Darnold knew what it was right away.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald reacted as if he understood the severity of the injury right away. So did Darnold, who walked up to Bobo after play was halted and got a close look at his teammate’s knee.
“ACL, ” Darnold was seen telling backup QB Drew Lock. “It’s like dangling.”
Macdonald later told reporters that Bobo had suffered a “serious” and “long-term” knee injury, but has yet to confirm if Bobo has indeed been diagnosed with a torn ACL.
Bobo, who was primarily used on special teams last season, tallied just two catches for 20 yards across 11 games during the 2025 campaign. He was slated to be the Seahawks’ No. 5 wide receiver heading into the 2026 season.
