The Tennessee Titans have traded another one of their top players.
Veteran linebacker Ernest Jones IV was traded from the Titans to the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday in exchange for linebacker Jerome Baker and a fourth-round draft pick, according to multiple reports.

The move came on the same day that Tennessee traded star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs. The 1-5 Titans are clearly rebuilding and focusing on the future.
Jones has now been traded twice in the last two months. The 24-year-old spent the first three seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Rams after being drafted in the third round in 2021. He started as a rookie in Super Bowl LVI and had 7 tackles and a sack in the Rams’ 23–20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jones was traded to the Titans during the offseason after he had been seeking a contract extension. He was publicly critical of the Rams after the trade.
The Seahawks were in need of help at linebacker, and Jones should provide it. The former South Carolina star had an impressive 145 total tackles and 4.5 sacks in 15 games last season. He has 44 tackles through six games this year.
