Snacks Harrison sent several tweets on Tuesday evening to discuss matters surrounding his situation for the 2019 NFL season that came to an end for the Detroit Lions.
Harrison started off by calling the season the “toughest” of his career. He said he has “tough decision” ahead, which is a reference to his possible retirement.
This season was the toughest season of my career in all aspects. Wasn't able to have the type of year I'm used to having and that my teammates and Lions fans deserved. Tough decisions to be made soon. I feel the love yall been sending my way and I greatly appreciate it.

Harrison also wanted to clear a few things up. He said he did not hold out from camp for a new deal, saying he was helping out his family.
With 2020 approaching I want to address 2 things and put it to bed. I didn't hold out of OTAs or mini camp for a new deal. My wife was pregnant and on bed rest in the hospital for most of her pregnancy. I had to stay at home and take care of my other 2 kids and handle my business

I am a husband and a father before I am a football player. Nothing was more important at that time than being there for my wife and kids when they needed me most. Secondly contrary to the BS reports I did not show up overweight & out of shape. I was 5lbs under my report weight.

“I put in work with my man @CoachBTJordan every offseason with last year being no different. So if yall think being at OTAs was more important than being there for my family yall can kiss my a–. Dont believe everything yall read. 80% of them have no clue what they are writing,” Harrison wrote in another tweet.
Harrison also called some writers who still said that despite knowing otherwise “scum.”
I usually dont even care what people write but I just felt the need to get some things clear. And to the reporters still writing that garage when yall were told better are scum. Anything for clicks.
