Steve Sarkisian is reportedly close to landing the Arizona Cardinals’ offensive coordinator job.
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Sarkisian is set to join Kliff Kingsbury’s new staff after two years in charge of the Atlanta Falcons’ offense.

Sarkisian’s star has definitely dimmed some since he left USC and started work in the NFL. The Atlanta offense took a step back under him, and some players reportedly didn’t love playing in it.
If Sarkisian does join the Cardinals’ staff, he’ll be joining a team that already has most of its offense covered, as Kingsbury is expected to call plays and implement his schemes. That means Sarkisian would probably be taking on a lesser role.
