Sydney Seau was given the opportunity to speak at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony for her late father Junior on Saturday in Canton, Ohio, and she absolutely nailed it.
After going public about the Hall’s plans to deny a member of the family the opportunity to speak at the induction, the Seaus got public sentiment on their side, and the Hall agreed to let Sydney speak. She delivered a speech as part of an “interview” following the video introducing her father, who died in 2012.

The New York Times also got Sydney to record a nine-minute long speech that she would have delivered had she been granted the chance to introduce her dad.
