The Kansas City Chiefs are in search of depth at running back and brought in Trent Richardson for a workout Tuesday, according to a report.

The Chiefs are in need of help at the running back position. They put Jamaal Charles on injured reserve, as reports say Charles needs a second surgery on his knee. Additionally, Spencer Ware suffered a concussion in Week 8 against the Colts. The team still has Charcandrick West on the depth chart, and he will likely see a lot of action in Week 9.
Richardson has not carried the ball in the NFL since 2014, when he averaged 3.3 yards per carry in 15 games with the Colts. He was waived by the Ravens in August and was last in the news for describing how his family blew his money in a short period of time.
