Twitter reacts to Kenyan Drake’s crushing goal-line fumble
The Miami Dolphins were one yard away from beating the Chicago Bears when disaster struck on Sunday.
Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake fumbled the ball on the verge of crossing into the end zone for what would have been a game-winning score. The Bears managed to recover, staving off disaster and making Drake the goat, at least for the moment.
Twitter, naturally, had a wide array of reactions to the stunning event.
Oh man. If Drake holds on to the ball, he will literally fall into the end zone and the #Dolphins win the game.

Unreal
Frank Gore??? That’s why you have the veteran https://t.co/9htbLo6svC— Jay Feely (@jayfeely) October 14, 2018
How the hell do you not sneak with Brock?

What a ridiculous play call by the Dolphins. A sneak is good how often there? 90 percent?

That’s why you don’t take Frank Gore out!

Kenyan Drake deserves no blame for having a head coach not smart enough to sneak it. I’ve been an Adam Gase supporter but this is pretty unforgivable. #FinsUp

Drake has certainly had some bad moments on a football field before, but this was probably the most brutal by any measure. Luckily, the Dolphins got the ball back and Drake actually had a hand in driving them down the field for a game-winning field goal as time expired in the extra period.
