Video indicates Aaron Rodgers, Shailene Woodley are still together?

Aaron Rodgers has not explicitly denied that he and actress Shailene Woodley have called off their engagement, but it certainly sounds like the two are still together. Or, perhaps they are together again.

Rodgers shared a lengthy post on Instagram late Monday night in which he thanked Woodley and many other people in his life for their support. It was noteworthy that he wrote about Woodley in the present tense. Then, in an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” Tuesday, Rodgers spoke about Woodley and how his work life has been so much better because he is so happy with his home life.

“I’ve learned so much from her. She’s just an incredible woman — talented, smart, kind,” Rodgers said. “When you have a partner like that it just makes life so much more enjoyable and tasteful and exciting. … When your home life is stable and you have an amazing partner to do life with, it just makes the work life a bonus. It changes the perspective.”

Rodgers notably omitted Woodley from his MVP acceptance speech earlier this month. However, he told McAfee it is no coincidence that he won the award twice since he started dating her two years ago. McAfee did not directly ask Rodgers about the breakup rumors, and the 38-year-old did not address them. But then something else happened.

At one point during the interview, a woman could be heard laughing in the background as Rodgers spoke about his improved relationship with the Green Bay Packers. McAfee, who is always on his toes, said he didn’t want to jump to conclusions but let Rodgers know there was going to be a ton of buzz about the laughing. Rodgers sarcastically blamed the TV, which was clearly a lie.

There was obviously a woman laughing. That doesn’t mean Woodley was there, but it certainly could have been her.

Rodgers and Woodley began dating near the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The first public confirmation the quarterback gave of the relationship was when he dropped a bomb during his NFL MVP speech last year that he was engaged. Reports of the couple splitting started surfacing after Rodgers did not mention Woodley in this year’s speech. A recent photo of Woodley out shopping only fueled the speculation.

Rodgers clearly doesn’t want to address the breakup rumors. Maybe he and Woodley took some time off before rekindling the flame.
