Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller seemingly addressed the sex tape scandal he has found himself wrapped up in with a post on social media Thursday.
Miller, who is wrapped up in a legal battle with a woman who allegedly filmed him during sex on vacation in Cancun, wrote a cryptic message on Instagram about “karma.”
Miller has filed court documents aiming to prevent a woman named Elizabeth Ruiz from distributing, copying or releasing the tape. It sounds as though Miller consented to being recorded at the time under the condition that the footage remain private. Miller’s attorneys claim someone representing Ruiz tried to extort the reigning Super Bowl MVP, offering him a chance to buy the video for $2.5 million before she sold it to someone else.

If Miller agreed to let the woman record him, he had a serious lapse in judgment. That doesn’t mean Ruiz should sell the footage or release it publicly, but that was not a good idea on his part.
