The Denver Broncos could have used linebacker Von Miller during their loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, though I’m not sure it would have made much of a difference. Miller suffered a torn ACL during a Week 16 win over the Houston Texans. After the Super Bowl, he tried to go out partying in New York City. He was turned away from at least one club.
TMZ posted a video on Monday morning which they claim shows Miller getting denied access to Marquee nightclub in NYC. Sidney Rice, James Carpenter and a bunch of other Seahawks players were reportedly partying inside the club, though the bouncer allegedly told Miller they were simply filled to capacity.
I’m sure the club was at capacity on Super Bowl Sunday, but NFL players and celebrities usually get special treatment. Rather than getting treated like VIP, Miller faced the same problem Justin Bieber faced several times over the weekend. And they say football is just a game — HA!
