Some people think Brooks Koepka had nefarious intentions when he posted about his wife on Instagram Tuesday.
Koepka shared a photo on his Instagram account that showed his wife Jena Sims in a bikini. The photo was from a shoot Sims did as part of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition.
“So proud of you @jenamsims amazing to see what hard work can do! I love you!” Koepka wrote as his caption.
That seems like a pretty straightforward and innocent post — Koepka comes off as a guy proud of his wife and congratulating her on her successful photoshoot.
But some thought Koepka was trolling one of his golf rivals, McIlroy, by going “in your face” on a day when the news of McIlroy’s divorce filing was reported.

Some also noted that McIlroy’s ex-fiancee Caroline Wozniacki commented on Koepka’s post to compliment Sims as a “hot mama.”
Do you think there was more to Koepka’s post than meets the eye? Was he also trolling McIlroy? Or was he merely sharing a proud post of his wife on the day the SI swimsuit edition was released? You make the call.
