Rickie Fowler and Allison Stokke are now engaged.
The golfer posted the news on his Instagram page Friday. He appeared to have proposed to the former Cal pole vaulter while on the beach. Fowler also made note that he proposed on national best friend day.
“Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And happy national best friend day to my best best best friend! I love you!!!” Stokke wrote on her IG page.
The two began dating at least over a year ago and have featured prominently on one another’s social media pages since. Based on how close they seemed to be growing, an engagement was inevitable.
The good news — besides their engagement — is that Fowler will no longer have to take embarrassing photos like this again.
