Ashley St. Clair, a conservative social media personality, made a huge announcement on Friday.
St. Clair posted a written statement to her X profile to announce that she and Elon Musk had a baby. St. Clair indicated she went public with the news because “tabloid media” was going to do it if she didn’t get ahead of things.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” St. Clair’s statement said.
“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
At the bottom of the note was the name of a crisis consultant, who was listed as the point of contact for media inquiries.
After dropping the bombshell news, St. Clair tried to show off some humor by posting about IRS agents getting fired.
St. Clair and Musk have interacted in the past on the X platform he owns. In fact, someone pointed out that St. Clair likely was impregnated by Musk not long after this interaction between the two.
Musk is known to have fathered 12 children, so this would be his 13th. He has often talked about the dangers he feels humanity is facing due to declining birth rates. He is doing his part to keep up population numbers.
