Kris Humphries’ Proposal to Kim Kardashian Was Scripted
So that whole thing about reality TV? Yeah, it might need a new name. We already knew that Kim Kardashian was casting boyfriends for her last relationship before agreeing on Kris Humphries. With this latest bit of information, we’re seeing more and more that “reality” TV is really just scripted drama.
Radar Online reports that the well documented proposal by Kris Humphries to Kim Kardashian was staged.
“Kim told Kris how, where and when to propose, it was absolutely no surprise to her whatsoever,” a source said.
“First of all, Kris proposed in the middle of the day, and he had to do that because it would create better lighting to capture the moment. Kim looked so surprised but she knew it was happening,” the source says. “She was in full hair and make-up, as she always is on the show. Kris wanted it to be very intimate and romantic, but all of his ideas were shot down by production officials and Kim.”
Time to adjust our vocabularies because there’s nothing real about reality TV anymore. The proposal couldn’t have been more staged than if it involved DeSean Jackson meeting a bullied child on The View.
