Terrell Owens and his wife Rachel Snider look like they are going to give Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries some serious competition for quickest marriage ever. Owens married Snider, a postal worker from Texas, in a private courthouse ceremony on Jan. 23. Snider already wants a divorce and has accused TO of only marrying her for money.
Snider reportedly told TMZ last week that she is “heartbroken” and feels Owens only married her so he could obtain a $2 million loan for a home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Naturally, TO’s people say that is totally false and he is doing well financially.
“Money is NOT an issue for Terrell,” Owens’ representative reportedly told TMZ on Monday. “Come on, she’s a postal worker. Do you really think she’s the primary on the loan?”
The rep added that TO is the “primary” person on the $2 million loan and that his marriage to Snider had nothing to do with money. Owens is supposedly filming a new show that is coming out in March and plans to file divorce papers against Snider as soon as he returns to California. We know he has had financial problems in the past.
In other words, it sounds like it is now a race for who can file the papers the quickest. Only in America.
