What’s up with Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy?

Last we checked, Kate Upton and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander were still in their puppy love phase. Heck, Verlander was caught staring at her like a 14-year-old who just saw his first pair of bing-bongs just a couple weeks ago at a hockey game. So what’s this chatter about Upton and “Dancing With the Stars” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy?

Upton and Chmerkovskiy dated for a while but broke up late last year. However, Chmerkoviskiy posted a photo on Instagram Sunday of him with Upton draped around his neck. The photo was supposedly taken at Tao in New York City.

That could very well have been an old photo, and Chmerkoviskiy may have sent it out by mistake. If not, it looks like the former couple has maintained a solid relationship through their split. And if Verlander and Upton are still going steady, he probably wouldn’t be happy about Miss Kate hanging out with her ex.
