Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll was partying a little too hard in Las Vegas on Friday, and he was busted by police because of it.
CBS Los Angeles reports that Stoll was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs at the MGM Grand Hotel’s Wet Republic pool. Police later confirmed that the 32-year-old was in possession of cocaine and ecstasy. Stoll reportedly posted $5,000 bail and was released.
Stoll, who has been with the Kings since 2008 and won two Stanley Cups with the team, is set to become a free agent on July 1. The Kings failed to reach the postseason this year.
The team released a statement regarding the arrest on Friday night.
“We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.”
Many are familiar with Stoll because he is the longtime boyfriend of FOX Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews. It’s unclear if Andrews was with him in Vegas at the time, or if she still feels the same way she felt last year in the wake of the arrest.
