Las Vegas Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury resorted to some weird antics during a scrum in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals Wednesday night, and even he doesn’t really know why.
A scrum broke out in front of the Knights’ net late in the second period, and Fleury decided to get in on the fun by tickling Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler’s ear.

When asked about the stunt after the game, Fleury said he wasn’t thinking and just felt like “having a smile” while everyone else traded shoves.

Hey, at least Fleury didn’t lick an opponent. Believe it or not, that is something we have seen already during these NHL playoffs.
With some of the saves Fleury made during his team’s 4-2 win on Wednesday, he shouldn’t have needed to tickle a Jets player’s ear to put a smile on his face.
