Hank Baskett named in Performance Gaines gym lawsuit
Hank Baskett, the former NFL receiver and husband of model Kendra Wilkinson, is being sued over his involvement in a California gym.
According to TMZ, Baskett is a co-owner of “Performance Gaines” gym, which is also owned by Baskett’s trainer, Travelle Gaines. The two are being sued by two men who claim they invested six figures into the gym before Baskett’s name was attached to the project. The men are suing for unspecified damages and claiming they were tricked into investing in the company after being promised a 40 percent share in the gym. They say their shares were given away to other partners, including Baskett.
Performance Gaines is located in West Hollywood and opened last year. Baskett, who caught six touchdowns in 68 career NFL games, has been closely involved with the gym.
“He leaves for work everyday at 5:30 a.m. and returns home at 5 p.m. He loves it. This is exactly what he wanted to do in his life,” Wilkinson told In Touch about her husband’s involvement with the gym last September.
Shutdown Corner did a story about the players training at the gym last July and said at the time that 30 NFL players were training there.
