Bill Simmons says ESPN cut him out of video
Bill Simmons left ESPN three and a half years ago, and he believes the company still isn’t a fan of him.
Simmons pointed out on Twitter Wednesday that ESPN cut him out of a video they aired earlier that day. The video clip, which was aired during ESPN show “Get Up,” shows NBA Commissioner Adam Silver speaking at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference over the weekend. Silver, who was speaking with Simmons moderating, said that NBA players are “truly unhappy.”
The video clip shown by ESPN did not show Simmons in the picture:
ESPN is petty for cutting out/ erasing Bill Simmons from the Adam Silver mental health discussion video. WTF pic.twitter.com/qIDTGvP2zF

Was this intentional by ESPN? Was there a technical reason why he was omitted? Who knows. Here’s a comparison showing the original clip:

Simmons always enjoys a good conspiracy theory and still seems to enjoy his beefs with his former employer and its employees, so this is right up his alley.
