Molly Qerim may not be out of the national spotlight for long.
Job offers have been “flooding in” for the former ESPN host Qerim ever since her abrupt departure from the network earlier this week, Steve Brenner of The US Sun reported over the weekend. Among the offers for Qerim has been reportedly one from FOX Sports, a major rival of ESPN.
Brenner adds that FOX has been in touch with Qerim about her potentially covering the NFL, college football, and high-profile college basketball games (with a chance of her hosting FOX studio shows as well). Furthermore, a three-year, $2 million deal plus bonus add-ons is said to be in the works between the two sides.

The 41-year-old Qerim had been at ESPN for nearly two decades (since 2008). Her most notable work for the network came as the host of the popular television show “First Take.” Qerim had served as the full-time host of “First Take” since 2015 and had become a staple of the program alongside Stephen A. Smith.
But reports broke earlier in the week that Qerim would be leaving ESPN upon the expiration of her contract at the end of 2025. In the wake of the news emerging, Qerim decided to resign from ESPN on the spot, leading to Smith offering an emotional tribute to her on the air.
ESPN has since revealed their plan for replacing Qerim as the host of “First Take.” As for Qerim herself, she had recently hinted at a new job coming for her in short order. Now it sounds like that new job could potentially come with a big rival of ESPN in FOX Sports.
